Adrian is excited to help our advocates improve their oral advocacy skills through in-class exercises! Personally, Adrian’s favorite thing about Appellate Advocacy is the brief-writing process. In addition to MCHB, Adrian is involved in Law Review. Last summer, Adrian worked for the Foundation for California Community Colleges, specifically in contracting and public procurement. Adrian is a double Aggie and has his degree in Philosophy (Pre-Law). His hometown is Napa, CA. Outside of law school, Adrian loves camping, card games, and cats. Fun fact: Adrian was a summer-camp counselor for three years in college! This semester, Emily is externing at the California Court of Appeal and she loves it! Her favorite thing about Appellate Advocacy is the people.Outside of MCHB, Emily is involved in Law Review. Last summer, Emily worked at the California Department of Justice in their Appeals Writs and Trials Section (Appellate). Emily’s hometown is Santa Barbara. Emily has her degrees in Economics and International Affairs from Northeastern University. When she’s not externing or at law school, Emily loves attending music festivals, skiing, hiking, going to the beach - pretty much anything outdoors! Fun fact: Emily is a dual citizen and has visited 51 countries! Adrian Brennan-Evans, agbreannanevans@ucdavis.edu Emily Derrick, elderrick@ucdavis.edu
