Kala is excited about how impressive our 2L advocates are and loves how diverse King Hall’s Moot Court program is. In addition to MCHB, Kala works with the Social Justice Law Review and many other wonderful groups on campus. Last summer, Kala had a chance to work with the Natural Resources Defense Council, specifically with community lawyering and environmental justice service. Kala is from Madras, Tamil Nadu, South India and went to undergrad in San Luis Obispo. She loves getting lost while backpacking, writing short fiction, and singing loudly behind closed doors.
