Meet the 2022-2023 Board: Public Relations Chair

Give a warm welcome to our Public Relations Chair, Mackenzie Barrett!

This semester, Mackenzie is excited to enter her last year of law school and make lifelong memories! Her favorite thing about appellate advocacy is having the opportunity to hone her oral advocacy skills in a low-stakes environment. In addition to MCHB, Mackenzie participates in Law Review, the King Hall Negotiations Team, and is a 1L Tutor in the Academic Success Program. Last semester, Mackenzie worked at Foley & Lardner LLP in corporate and transactional law.

Mackenzie’s hometown is Reno, NV and she has her degrees in Journalism and International Affairs from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her favorite hobbies are reading, pilates, and cozy gaming. Fun fact: Mackenzie loves snowboarding despite her weak ankles (both of which have been broken and sprained multiple times).
