Olivia is super excited to attend football games at Davis this semester, to enter her last year of law school, and to mentor the Appellate Advocacy class. Her favorite thing about appellate advocacy is that it pushes her to be a better public speaker and makes her better at thinking on her feet. In addition to MCHB, Olivia is involved in the King Hall Labor & Employment Law Association. Last summer, Olicia worked at Saber Law Group, practicing management-side employment law. Olivia received her degree in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara. Olivia is from Danville, CA and her favorite hobbies include yoga, reading, traveling, going to concerts and finding new places to eat. Fun fact: Olivia used to be an EMT! Taylor is ready to help 2Ls with their oral advocacy skills this semester! Her favorite thing about appellate advocacy is getting to practice public speaking in a low-stakes environment. Outside of MCHB, Taylor is involved in the Criminal Law Association and the Aoki Criminal Justice Practicum. Last summer, Taylor worked at the New York Legal Aid Society in their Criminal Defense practice. Taylor is from Mill Valley and has her degree in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley. Her favorite hobbies are hiking, surfing, and baking. Fun fact: Taylor has a cat named Olive, also known as “smollive” because she is abnormally small.
