Cirrus loves the high-stakes practical setting of appellate advocacy because it teaches students the skills that practicing attorneys use everyday! In addition to MCHB, Cirrus is involved in the Civil Rights Clinic, Lambda and the Gender/Name Change Clinic. Last summer, Cirrus worked at Legal Aid at Work, specifically in employment law. Before coming to King Hall, Cirrus graduated from UC Santa Cruz with his degrees in Politics and Legal Studies. Cirrus is originally from Carlsbad, CA. He loves playing with his three-legged cat, Monkey, skiing, backpacking, and going to festivals. Nicole’s favorite thing about appellate advocacy is being able to engage in discourse with the judges, even if it means saying “respectfully, I disagree, Your Honor.” She’s excited to enter her last year of law school and end on a high note! In addition to MCHB, Nicole is on Law Review. Last summer, Nicole worked in Gibson Dunn’s DTLA office in their litigation group. Nicole received her Political Science degree from CSULB and is originally from Buena Park, CA. Her favorite hobby is being a diligent student and reciting the rule against perpetuities every night before bed. Want to connect with Cirrus and Nicole?
