The Moot Court Honors board is proud to announce the winners of the 2024 1L Moot Court Competition, a testament to the exceptional advocacy and legal writing skills of our students. The competition was fiercely contested, and we extend our congratulations to all participants for their hard work and dedication. Winning Team: Courtney Chan and Bek Kamolov Finalists: Roxanne Camarena and Lillian Ohara Semifinalists: Jessica Fields, Candace Britton, Kayli Mak, and Nizhoni McDarment Best Oral Advocate: Jessica Fields Oral Advocates Runners-up: Courtney Chan and Roxanne Camarena were recognized as the second and third place Oral Advocates, respectively Best Brief: Savanna Burney and Maja Kozlowska Best Brief Honorable Mentions: The teams of Iyanuoluwa Adeniji and Jenny Feng, along with Robbie Nunes and Sarah Byerline, were awarded second and third places for Best Brief, respectively The MCHB also wishes to extend special thanks to Bella Spies and Grace Wiley for their tireless efforts in planning and organizing the competition. Their dedication ensured the event was not only a success but also an enriching experience for all participants!Congrats to the outstanding 1L Moot Court Competition advocates!
