I'm born and raised in Sacramento (although I've still never adjusted to the heat!). I graduated from UCLA with a degree in International Development Studies. I've spent the last seven years working for an adventure travel company focusing on Africa & the Middle East. Outside of law school, I love to play with my cute but naughty boston terrier, travel, and I'm on a mission to try every coffee shop in Sacramento. I also volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster youth in my free time. I joined WLA because I feel strongly that it's important for women to support one another and build community, especially in a time where so many of our rights are being called into question. We are stronger together.

Originally from Los Angeles, I spent the six years prior to law school in the Bay Area. During my time at UC Berkeley I interned for California State Senator Fran Pavley, and for the American Sustainable Business Council. After graduating, I spent two years working as a paralegal for the Department of Justice Antitrust Division in San Francisco, where I worked on cases involving complex criminal antitrust and fraud litigation. I also spent a year volunteering with San Francisco Women Against Rape (SFWAR) as a crisis counselor for survivors of sexual violence. In my free time I enjoy baking, swimming, yoga, and true crime podcasts.

Christine is a trained journalist, and is pursuing her law degree with interest in media and First Amendment law. She has traveled to Eastern Europe, the West Bank, Cuba and Guatemala as a multimedia reporter writing about social challenges and conflict-affected communities. She joined the WLA to support a rising group of young women fighting for change for themselves and those for which they advocate. Find her racing trails running with her catahoula dog, Gryffin or tackling a home renovation she really should have left alone.

My name is Madison Rodgers (she/her/hers). I am from Hot Springs, AR and I attended undergrad at University of Arkansas at Little Rock where I received my BA in Political Science with minors in International Studies and Middle Eastern Studies. Through my studies, I had the opportunities to travel to the UK, France, Germany, Morocco, and Qatar. I decided to come to King Hall because of the incredible courses that are provided, the distinguished faculty, and the amazing clinic opportunities. Alongside WLA, I am a board member for the King Hall Legal Foundation and Section D Representative for the Law Student Association. Coming on to King Hall's campus, I was so excited to find a community for women and a space to discuss the important issues related to women, gender, race, law, and society.  For as long as I can remember, I have been a strong believer in intersectional feminism.

Hi everyone! My name is Grace Wiley and I am super excited to be a part of WLA! I am from Sacramento, but just graduated from UCSB in June. Coming to Davis Law, I am looking forward to pursuing opportunities related to my interested fields of law which include political law and civil rights law.
