Won graduated from Smith College, Northampton, MA, in 2011 with a double major in Government and Economics. She received her Master of Letters from Christie’s Education, London, U.K., a joint Master’s program with the University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland, in 2014. At King Hall, she is involved in UC Davis Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA), King Hall Women’s Law Association (KHWLA), and UC Davis Journal of International Law & Policy (JILP). She is a Treasurer of KHWLA. In her free time, she enjoys visiting museums, watching movies, and traveling.

Jon Ivy has lived and worked in Northern California for most of his life. He is a veteran and long-time civil servant with a passion for progress and devotion to social justice. He has a BA in History from Excelsior College in Albany, NY and a AA in Chinese Mandarin from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA. Before coming to King Hall, Jon worked as the Voter Access Coordinator for the California Secretary of State, and he remains active in helping shape election management policy through ongoing advocacy and public outreach. In his free time, Jon loves talking to people about the world we live in, playing board games, dancing, and singing karaoke.

Emily graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Global Studies, where she focused her studies on Latin America and women's issues. After graduating, she worked as a Legal Assistant for nearly two years at a private civil litigation firm. However, before transferring to USCB, Emily helped organize events regarding women's issues at her community college in Sacramento, where she developed a strong passion for advocating for women's rights. She plans to carry this passion throughout her legal education. Along with her involvement with KHWLA, Emily is a Research Editor for the Journal of Juvenile Law and Policy.

Camila graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2013 with a double major in International Studies, and Advertising and Public Relations. In addition to her role as Outreach Officer of KHWLA, Camila also serves as the Co-President of the Immigration Law Association and Associate Member of UC Davis Immigration and Nationality Law Review. Camila is committed to improving the lives of immigrant children through legal representation and advocacy in the courts, legislatures, schools and community. Outside of law school, shes loves learning about race, gender and economic justice issues and enjoys cooking and the outdoors.

I worked as a project manager for a media and framing project in the Political Science Department. Prior to that, I worked as a research assistant on various political science and public opinion projects that studied President Trump and the European response to the 2016 election. During college, I worked as an intern for the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Sydney graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2017 with a major in public relations and a minor in political science. While she has many passions, women’s rights and issues have always been at the forefront. Through King Hall Women’s Law Association, Sydney hopes to combat gender discrimination, promote reproductive justice, and embrace her true femininity. When she is not studying or fundraising, Sydney enjoys swimming, gardening, musical theatre, and managing her non-profit organization The Pink Mermaid Project.

Amelia graduated from UC Davis with degrees in Spanish and Sociology with an emphasis in Social Services in 2017, and spent the last year teaching outdoor education in rural Marin. Her interest areas include intersectional feminism, environmental justice and sustainability. In her free time she enjoys swimming, hiking and knitting.

I moved to California from New York City to attend law school, where I am interested in studying issues at the intersection of law, human rights, and feminism. I was an English major at NYU, where I authored a research paper about the 2015 marriage equality referendum in Ireland. I proudly joined the KHWLA board to continue building a community of individuals at King Hall who are passionate about women’s rights and committed to being fierce advocates for gender equality.

Corrina graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2017 with a major in Political Theory and a minor in English Literature. During undergrad, Corrina was on the Board of a UCSD pre-law organization, and also volunteered at a San Diego Self-Help Center. During her gap year, she took on a fellowship position at a Bay Area Self-Help Center, assisting a high volume of underreprensented and indigent folks with family law issues. Corrina is very excited to be joining the Board of the KHLWA because she is passionate about supporting women and actively promoting intersectional feminist policies.

Caroline graduated from the University of Florida in 2016 with a degree in Anthropology. For most of her undergraduate career she pursued paleoanthropological research and later did field work in East Africa as a National Science Foundation Fellow. Eventually wanting to pursue change in a different sphere, she applied to law school to focus on environmental issues and policy. Outside of school, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and trivia.
