The 54th Annual Neumiller Moot Court Competition

The Annual Irving J. Neumiller Competition is the final round of the year-long Moot Court competition at UC Davis School of Law. King Hall’s best oral advocates are selected to have their advocacy skills tested by six distinguished Judges:

• Judge Dale Alan Drozd, District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California
• Justice Elena Duarte, Associate Justice on the Third District of the California Courts of Appeals
• Judge Kara Ueda, Judge of the Superior Court of Sacramento County
• Judge Renee Reyna, Judge of the Superior Court of San Mateo
• Judge Dan Wolk, Judge of the Superior Court of Yolo County, and
• Judge Dee Brown, Administrative Law Judge in the State of California

This year's finalists included John Collins, McKenzie Deutsch, Avery Lajeunesse, and Zachary Castagnola-Johnson.

We are so proud to announce that the 54th Annual Neumiller Moot Court Competition winners were John Collins and McKenzie Deutsch! 

We can't wait to hold our 55th Annual Neumiller Moot Court Competition next year! Special thanks to the judicial officers who joined us for the competition, as well as our fearless Neumiller Competition Chairs, Milene Minassians and Myra Farooqi!
