The MLK Competition honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., an international leader in the pursuit of civil rights, equality, and education. Dr. King’s legacy is an inspiration to all who seek to promote racial equity and socioeconomic justice, reflecting the values UC Davis School of Law seeks to instill in its students. The designation of the Law School building as King Hall and our mock trial competition as the MLK Competition both serve as a tribute to his legacy.
Honorable Judge Dennis Cota, Chair Kayli Mak, and President Cameron Lucky
