5th Annual 1L Negotiations Competition
Over 50 first year law students and LLM students competed in the Fifth Annual 1L Negotiation Competition on Saturday, September 24th, 2016 at UC Davis School of Law. Over 30 teams competed in two morning rounds with four teams advancing to the afternoon finals by negotiating deals between the "Schmetty" Art Museum and foreign governments, artists' estates, and employee unions. Taking top honors in the competition were:

9th Annual Intraschool Negotiations Competition
The King Hall Negotiations Team (KHNT) organized the Ninth Annual Intraschool Negotiation Competition Saturday, February 6th, 2016. KHNT hosted dozens of volunteer judges from across the state that included superior court judges, attorneys, business professionals, and mediators. Registration was capped due to limited space availability at 30 teams. Taking top honors in the competition were:

First year law students and LLM students competed in the Fourth Annual 1L Negotiation Competition on Saturday, September 22nd, 2015 at UC Davis School of Law. Over 30 teams competed in two morning rounds with four teams advancing to the afternoon finals. Each round pertained to NFL negotiations focusing on either employment, community relations, or building contracts. Taking top honors in the competition were:

Congratulations to the finalists and winners of the 8th Annual Intraschool Negotiation Competition, hosted at King Hall on Saturday, February 28th, 2015. After three rounds of fierce negotiations, two first place teams and two finalist teams emerged. Winning top marks were the following competition teams. The Third Annual 1L Negotiation Competition was held on Saturday, September 27th, 2014 at UC Davis School of Law. Over 30 teams of exclusively first year and LLM law students competed in two morning rounds with four teams advancing to the afternoon finals. Each round pertained to television cooking show negotiations focusing on either employment, community relations, or building contracts. Taking top honors in the competition were:

6th Annual Intraschool Negotiations Competition
On February 23rd, the King Hall Negotiations Team hosted the Sixth Annual Intraschool Negotiation Competition at King Hall. The competition hosted 22 judges from across the state and 44 student competitors from King Hall. The caliber of competitors this year was without a doubt the highest we have seen to-date. This year’s problem concerned trusts, wills and estates. Students competed in teams of two in two rounds of negotiations evaluated by either two or three competition judges. After the two rounds, the top four teams were announced and they competed in the final round in the afternoon.

5th Annual Intraschool Negotiations Competition
On October 1st, 2011 the King Hall Negotiation Team hosted the fifth annual Intra-school Negotiation Competition. The competition, held at King Hall, hosted over 40 judges from across the state and over 75 student competitors. This year’s topic, provided by the American Bar Association, was real estate. After the two rounds, the top six teams were announced and they competed in the afternoon. Congratulations to the following winners.
