KHLF awards all proceeds raised throughout the academic year as Summer Public Interest Grants to first and second-year law students who will perform summer legal work in the public interest sector. Grants are awarded for full-time public interest work at qualifying organizations. Applicants may also request partial grants. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to apply for a grant, you must:
- Be a member in good standing of KHLF;
- Be a first or second-year student at King Hall for Summer Public Interest Grants;
- Attend all mandatory meetings;
- Volunteer 15 hours of time to the Annual Spring Auction, including 10 hours of active, documented solicitation, and 5 hours of work during / around the auction;

In order to apply for a grant, the applicant must first secure summer employment with a qualifying public interest organization. Applicants may apply for a grant for summer employment with any 501(c)(3) non-profit or government organization dedicated to serving the legal needs of
