I am interested in IP and litigation. Prior to law school, I worked as a paralegal at a boutique IP law firm in Mountain View, CA on trademark and patent prosecution. I was heavily involved with a federal patent infringement and trade secret dispute heard in the Northern District of CA. This past summer, I was a judicial extern to the Honorable Laurel Beeler of the Northern District of CA in San Francisco. This coming spring, I will be a judicial extern to the Honorable Troy L. Nunley of the Eastern District of CA in Sacramento.

I worked in patent prosecution this past summer primarily with software and electronic inventions. This upcoming summer, I will work on IP litigation matters.

I worked 10 years for the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Lahontan Region, as an environmental scientist and chemist, and 10 years as a government relations representative for a manufacturing concern in Oregon. I also taught biology and chemistry at a community college in Illinois for two years. My interest now is in practicing patent law in the life sciences. This summer I worked as a legal intern for the State of California, State Water Resources Control Board, Office of Enforcement, in Sacramento.
