The Water Association of Law and Policy (WALP), a student-led organization, provides King Hall students
the opportunity to learn and be involved in current water issues in California, the Western United States,
and beyond. Pressing issues include property rights, social justice, water use and allocation, and water
politics.
WALP strives to increase awareness of water issues in the King Hall community through field trips, water
law career panels, and community volunteer opportunities. WALP members are encouraged to write and
contribute to the California Water Law Journal, a collaborative journal shared between Northern California
law schools focused on water law and policy.
