Albert Lin, Professor
“The law fascinates—and confuses—in its variety and complexity. But the law is not merely an object of academic interest. It can be a powerful tool for addressing problems, as well as a battleground between different interests seeking to advance their views of the good. This is particularly true of environmental law. Environmental law seeks to address very real problems that affect all of us. Yet because of the stakes involved, it is not an area where consensus is easily achieved—or, in some cases, is even achievable.”
