The
Perfect Tender Child Care Co-op is a non-profit daycare cooperative for
law school students at King Hall School of Law at the University of
California, Davis. The Co-op is located in Room 13 in the basement of the law school and can accommodate up to six children at a time. The cooperative is unlike anything provided at law schools throughout the nation. It is run by law students who volunteer their time between classes to watch the children of fellow students while they attend class. The Co-op is independent of the University and therefore must raise funds for insurance premiums and other expenses. Co-op members hold fundraisers throughout the year including bake sales, auctions of donated items and alumni donation requests.
