The King Hall Negotiations Team would like to thank everyone involved in the 10th Annual Intraschool Negotiations Competition over the weekend. We saw a lot of talent and hope that many will apply to be a part of KHNT next year!

Special congratulations to:

Winners:  Kim Angulo & Priyam Desai
                  Samantha Castanien & Sara Taylor
Finalists:   Lauren Murphy & Ellen Simmons
                   Ian Midiere & Farhad Omidwar

The Intraschool Negotiations Competition has been held every spring for the past ten years and serves as the tryout for the King Hall Negotiations Team. Students compete in teams of two, composed of current law students and LLM students.  Area practitioners judge students and provide feedback. Besides the initial negotiations of a complex problem written my the team, competitors are also challenged to conduct a self-assessment and elaborate on their strategy to the judges. After two morning rounds, four finalist teams advance to the final round after which two winning teams are announced.

The King Hall Negotiations Board extends its sincere gratitude to the judges who devoted their Saturday to providing feedback to students, making this a valuable educational experience. The Board also thanks the Dean's Office for its generous financial support, and Dean Kevin R. Johnson for greeting guests the morning of the event. Special thanks also go to Faculty Advisor Professor Donna Shestowsky, Support Staff Linda Cooper, Event Manager Gia Hellwig, and Graphic Designer Sam Sellers. Finally, thank you to all the KHNT team members who made the day a sucess, especially Co-Chairs Moji Majekodunmi and Bianca Rodriguez, Judge Liaison Khushi Desai, and Problem Writer John Miller.
